A series of prints created to bring a sense of pride back to the Lochee area in Dundee, by celebrating the High Street’s colourful history.

Back in 1938 my great-grandfather opened a butcher shop in Lochee High Street, a business which my grandfather then took over and ran until 2004. There was a great sense of community spirit and pride in those days in the High Street, something which is sadly fading as independent shops are closing their doors. I wanted to emulate the energy of the street in my prints and bring back the charm of a forgotten age.
